Aidilfitri 2011 & IPCC Grant Winning :)

Salams and good day to everyone,

well there is a few days left in the syawal muslim month that still gaves me the chance to wish my blog readers Happy Edulfitri to all muslim. Raya Puasa (fasting end season) was a good time for me to do some of many great and important work in my life and business. just after raya i had been quite busy with company assignment and works, plus just a few days ago had been a very happy and good day for me.

thanks to Allah SWT that gave me a chance to win a grant by the MSC MDEC IPCC in creating a digital interactive comic called 'Autorun | first task'. this digital comic is a hardwork by Shahizwan Zakaria which happen to be my good friend since diploma in kedah. what i did is as the presenter of the comic's proposal to the MDEC IPCC jury and refining the comic storyline and doing its marketing plan, the core of the comic is truely Babat's (his nickname) effort and idea. you can visit the facebook fanpage of this comic at here and pls click LIKE as a support to this creative effort.

Sudah Separuh Bulan Ramadhan...

Salam Semua dan Selamat Meneruskan Lagi Ibadah Puasa Anda,

sekejap je puasa dah separuh bulan dah, untuk puasa kali ini saya rasakan ia sangat2 bermakna dengan pelbagai usaha dan target yg saya cuba capai. Semuanya berjalan elok walau pun ada kelewatan sedikit namun apa yg penting teruskan progress setiap hari walau pun kecil :D

jadi dalam minggu ini sempatlah saya berbuka dua tiga kali bersama miji dan beno di klang. teringgat saat2 nakal berbuka di uitm kedah dahulu dengan beramai2 berebut nak cicah budu..heheh.. tak juga lupa tiap kali puasa tiap kali itu lah masa hendak siapkan final project... :">

Kelihatan di dlm pingggang nasi itu cucur sayur yg sgt2 sy sukai couple kan dgn ayam pecel itu..mmg puas hati! :D

on company progress pada minggu ini kami memantapkan lagi cara marketing online dan juga berbincang perkara2 yg telah terancang secara lagi detail. sempat juga pergi ke beberapa kedai supplier dan penjual equipment untuk mencuba brand2 dan part2 yang baru sampai. Untuk masa sekarang kami akan cuba memantapkan lagi like up equipment kami :D

miji yang sedang mencuba frame rig baru ini :D, utk rig seperti ini sudah hampir RM2000 huhu..


well setakat ini lah yer..nanti sy post lagi.. terimakah sketch utk kali ini :D

Versi saya tersendiri untuk Konsep Proton Tuah

Sudah dekat seminggu tiada posting baru kerana sedikit sibuk dengan hal2 sekian2 :D. Posting ini adalah untuk berkongsi idea saya terhadap konsep proton tuah 'jikalau' ia di produksikan (persona-R?). saya cuba 'refine' kan rupa hadapannya mengikut sesedap rasa fahaman design saya. maka ini lah hasilnya :). insyallah jikalau tidak keberatan sy akan cuba renderkan yang ini kerana tidak pernah lagi cuba merender 'full sedan look' di sebabkan asyik render hatchback dan sport car sahaja..huhu

perbandingan dengan konsep asal tuah :)

Had alot of thoughts these few days

Well i did came back from my village about 3 days ago and started up again my car rendering but i had alot to think. One of my thoughts are I must redefines my design understanding and into a much serious way of thinking when characterizing my car designs, it might rite now seems quite alot of influences from popular car design language and what the market is referring as a good product sales aka just like im doing a market analysis but on design understanding and this bothers me because I think that im going astray far from 'influence understanding' to just a refined copy rather a fresh idea. i also thinks this is what happen when im too much focusing on production concept ideas rather than a totaly sky blue concept idea.

but i still do love doing these production alike concept rendering and design because it gave me a sense of logic thinking how would this car produced and on what limitation does the car company have. For the time being im focused on Proton's design language that is appears to be on the Tuah Concept and Emas Concept last year. I used alot of the design cues and merge it with my strong likeness on the Audi and VW designs, but i also took many influence and info from the hyundai and Kia emerging market sales.

well this thoughts makes me redesign and refined a few of my upcoming rendering. well here are some what i had done these few days :)

again its refined again..and again..but this is the final lineart for it.

in this pic i am highlighting a few of curves, strokes and design that i am really focusing and trying to birth into a design such as this.

some rough sketch or doodles..i sucks at rims..need to do much more practice on that :">

My Character Concept Design

To tell the truth beside from designing cars or sketching them i also love to sketch and design characters for entertainment art. Beside from that i also have working experience in pre production for 3d animation production which i did a few concept art stuff like character design, art direction, environment design and storyboard.

I had alot of free times... ^_^!

well this a doodle when i am free (most of the time) since i didnt ave any permanent job rite now, i intent to render a car design once a week or two just to keep my skills running good and my ideas fresh. so what do i do in my free times and focusing on design? well i just love to browse every day on the web searching for the latest automotive news, autoblog, local car news and deviantart. Most of the time in coroflot i am browsing trough other's designer profile and their likebox's images, this is just to see what they like and what they are referring to.

btw, i am also quite fond of Autostylista this facebook group that my friends created just for automotive interest geeks of friends. rite now we are holding a monthly car design battle, the winners of the battle shall be announced and promoted at our friend's blog n sites ^_^ .
